I remember reading about a manga where females are extremely rare because they have died out or near extinction. I can't remember much besides that. Of course it's a futuristic type manga and I can't remember if there was fighting involved.

Just list any and all types of manga involving females or maybe males going into extinction as that's what I feel like reading about for some reason. Thanks!

That seems interesting. But Females are completely extinct besides one but she dies, so yea completely extinct. Not really looking for a complete yaoi/yuri manga. I'd also prefer that one of the main characters was on the gender side that's near extinction.

Oooku and Shounen Oujo fit the bill, I think.

Oh yes those look like good reads! Thank you!

I still will like some where females are dying off though not the males. Seems like everyone thinks guys will kick the bucket before females xD

If scientists would just hurry up and make us immortal already....

In seriousness, if immortality never happens, cloning is trivial in this day and age. If you care about the species staying alive without utilizing pure, single-parent clones, DNA recombination with lesbian partners will also be pretty easy within the next 50 years. Male partners is more difficult, because you need an egg somehow (in contrast, an egg can be scienced into functioning as a sperm, already; there's just a minor binding issue that scientists haven't worked out yet). You also have to force male partners to not result in 2 Y chromosomes, but that's not difficult.

As for immortality, we already have drugs that can forcibly reverse aging. Yes, really. The issue is that they currently result in a 100% chance of cancer in affected cells.

So as soon as we get a perfect, 100% cure for all cancers, we can finally be immortal. Well, we'll still be able to be killed, or starve, etc., but we won't die of old age. And then the government will force us to stop reproducing except when someone dies.

Thank you all for the help~!
I'm actually really tired of HWANG Mi-Ri's work so doubt I'll read it. Put it on my list and try to remember it.
