Life and death situation

I'm looking for manga that have a life and death situation where the protagonist have to be paired up with a partner. If one partner dies the other partner will go down with him/her. The perfect example is Torikago no Tsugai. I will take any genres as long as it has this situation. Thanks in advance! biggrin

You mean like TWGOK? Though they kind of abandoned this idea in the later story arcs.

In Kamisama no Iutoori (Fujimura Akeji) there's something similar.
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
The characters have to skip the rope a hundred times along with somebody else, but if someone falls or doesn't get in, he dies. Then another person must join in. The problem is there are few people around.
