Just as the title says, I'm looking for a manga where the psychological aspect of characters is the focus. Now this can be put in many ways.
-About a psychologist and the patients he treats. (eg. dr. frost)
-About a character with a trauma or something and how they overcome it.
-About how a psychic character? (kinda like Future Diary I guess)

The most important thing is that it has to involve psychological things going on. I love crazy and messed up situations. And the deeper it is, the better it gets.

And please avoid shoujo and ecchi genres. And romance partly, I don't care if it has romance as long as the romance is not the main focus of the story.
Preferably with a male main character.

Thanks in advance ^.^

Kimi no Knife is about a young teacher, who becomes a hitman. I think it fits perfectly.

I also recommend Afterschool Military Activity, it's very interesting from a psychological perspective.

Kokou no Hito - on the surface about climbing, but delves very deeply into the mind of an extreme introvert.

Himitsu - solving murder using the memories from dead people's brains.

Eternal Sabbath - going into people's minds and manipulating it.

Well, you already read Monster, so anything else by the same author? (20 Seiki Shounen, Pluto, Billy Bat)

Also, the author of Melo Holic and Superior Day also wrote Hanged Doll.

The Higurashi no Naku Koro ni and Umineko series are kind of psychological in a messed up way?

Deepest impression has got to be Monster, but Kiseijuu was kinda "crazy and messed up" feeling.

Some others that you might like;
Doubt (TONOGAI Yoshiki)
7 Seeds
Deadman Wonderland
Yumekui Kenbun

The list starts with the ones I consider most psychological:

Doll star
Fushigi na shounen
Natsunokumo
Genkaku Picasso
Liar game
Sekaioni
Ningen Shikkaku
Alice (KIM Dong-hoon)
Hito hitori futari
Jisatsutou
Holyland
G (KOIKE Keiichi)
Japan tengu party illustrated
Kiichi!!
Hoozuki no shima
Kizu (KIYOHARA Hiro)
Sherlock (better to watch the TV show than read the manga, as it basically just follows the plot of the first ep exactly, but still decent enough read)
Imawa no kuni no alice
Doreiku
Mob psycho 100-More psychic than psychological processes of the mind but one of my favs.
Saiteihen no otoko
Kurosagi
Wendy
Kami-sama Permanent
Tista
Yokokuhan
Livingstone
Golondrina

Somebody wrote Death Note AWESOME series, should be on your top priority list.
Apart from that, Monster is pretty cool. Holyland wouldn't i say are psychological but it's really cool, got some amazing character growth, definetly worth reading. Shamo is kinda the only thing I see missing. It's also pretty good, got some really cool characters.

Good read

Shi ni Itaru Yamai - follows a clinical psychology student and his patient. It centers around the concept of despair, especially as described by the philosopher Søren Kierkegaard in his book, "The Sickness Unto Death".
