I'm looking for some romance manga, no shoujo though( too much drama for my liking),
where the main couple are best friends or childhood friends before becoming lovers.
But I'm looking for some that have the girl a bit older maybe 1-3 years older than the guy and one of the two fall in love first but the other feels their relationship is more of a younger brother-older sister.
... or at least something that is similar to what I'm looking for. I've been looking for a some time but the only one that I think fits is
Maji de Watashi ni Koi Shinasai!

The best I could think of is Kekkaishi. It's not exactly romance though, just an undertone.

Hitotsu Yane no Shita no mc follows his older childhood friend to a all-female-turned-coed high school, might or might not turn into a harem
Montage (WATANABE Jun) mc's dad was involved in a robbery and was murdered, so he was adopted into his childhood friend's family. Later on there's some conspiracy around the robbery, his adopted parents disappeared, and now he's trying to protect himself and his childhood friend. The girl is 2 years his senior though he is more mature/knowledgeable. It's more of a thriller and neither has fallen with love, but knowing watanabe, I guess he will get them together at the end.
One word of precaution on Kono S o, Mi yo, there's

some element of NTR

Gotta second Hitotsu Yane no Shita no. It seems to be turning into a love triangle in the RAWs, but the other girl seems to be little more than a third wheel.
Enchanter has this scenario, though the girl is old enough to be his teacher
Tsubame Syndrome might fit, but it kind of sucks
In terms of characters Maji de Watashi ni Koi Shinasai! reminded me of Medaka Box. I'm not sure how much of an older sister type character Medaka was towards the male lead, but she loved him in a non-romantic way at the start, so it might actually fit. I didn't like the series too much.
If you're feeling like reading a shoujo oneshot, you could try Mayonaka ni Binetsu, since it's more or less what you requested.
Freezing kind of fits with the male lead treating the female lead as the substitute of his older sister. I can't say I recommend the series though.
