Just like the title says. I'm mostly looking for this dynamic in opposite-sex friends, but same-sex is okay too. Romance is good if it's not with each other. Preferably something like slice-of-life comedy but that's not a requirement.

No ecchi/smut/yaoi/yuri please (unless it's extremely light). Shounen-ai and shoujo-ai are okay.

It'd be greatly appreciated if you could take a look at my lists before recommending anything. Much thanks in advance.

Cotton is really the only one coming to mind. I suppose Pieta too, but I like to imagine their relationship isn't just platonic, lol. Both are two girls, the latter is especially shoujo-ai.

Ah, to clarify: I don't want any romance between the friends. Or at least by the end of the story. If they start out in a romantic relationship but decide to stay as friends, that's fine too.

truthfully according to what you asked for prunus girl does not fit, but at the same time I suggest it still since it was a fantastic read
