If you download http://raw.github.com/loadletter/mangaupdates-urlfix/master/ma ngaupdates_group.user.js then maybe you need to put comma after "http://www.onepiecehq.com/"
I.e. "999": "http://www.onepiecehq.com/" -> "999": "http://www.onepiecehq.com/",

Dunno really. It works fine with FF 25.0.1 and Greasemonkey 1.12 either way.

if you are using the ssl version of the site, might want to switch to regular http. that's what did it for me.

For opera, simply use the violentmonkey add-on (the equivalent of greasemonkey for opera).
It works great for me.

Just in case someone got error when installing greasemonkey, I suggest using scriptish
It's just like greasemonkey, only better.
(i used to use greasemonkey, but getting error after forefox update)

I think the best solution would be creating a scanlation group search engine.
Search engines are not responsible for illegal content they index.

It doesn't matter because they will still threaten a lawsuit against you. They know they will lose in an actual court battle, but they assume you will NOT go to court to defend your rights since that costs $50,000 if the venue is not in your own home city (you have to hire lawyer on the road and pay travel expenses and higher non-home-city lawyer fees that they charge). Because you will not challenge, you have to plead no contest to the charges and surrender. It's unfair, but the USA legal system is like that and many big companies take advantage of the fees burden to win cases that they would otherwise lose.

It's not illegal under US law to link to copyright violators on a search engine.
Individual companies may submit DMCA notices for specific URLs, and you are required to comply with valid DMCA takedowns, but no one can submit a blanket takedown notice like they did to mangaupdates.
Well, they could try, but it would not hold up in court. Most DMCA takedowns are scare tactics, and not every company filing them has the money to actually take you to court.

This is why you should contact the EFF if you get a bogus takedown like MangaUpdates did. Even if they won't take the case personally, they have a mailing list of attorneys who do pro-bono work to stop these kind of free speech abuses. It's amazing how fast most of these idiots back down when they find out you have an actual lawyer willing to defend you.
They rely on fear, don't let them scare you, ask for help and fight back.

Because of google's decision, it's not going to work anymore, apparently. =/
Here's the article.
I hope it's possible to get the extension approved?
Edit:
Silly me, I'll just use Opera.

Does this refer to greasemonkey or the mangaupdates script?
And it's Chrome limited right?
This script stopped working for me couple of days (maybe 2 weeks) ago and I'm using Mozilla. I haven't changed anything drastic that I know of, any ideas why it is not working anymore or is it connected to the article above?
