What is the best way to translate a dialect or accent of the original language that is not the norm (e.g., Kansai-ben)?
Different country's English accent (e.g., Irish or Australian)
Different American regional accent (e.g., Southern)
Have the character use different slang (e.g., 'pops' instead of 'dad')
Minor speech pattern differences (e.g., dropping the 'g' in '-ing' words)

Romance in a non-romance anime/manga

I'm terribly sorry if this has been asked already!

But, I'm looking for a series that has nice romantic development between two characters, but romance is not the main focus of the series. I guess the best example would be Fullmetal Alchemist.

I'd prefer if the couple actually gets together (because the whole Mai/Joey thing bothered me so much when I was a kid watching yugioh, WHY DID THEY NOT GET TOGETHER?!?) Though, implied romances are okay too (read: mustangxhawkeye of FMA).

Hoshi no Samidare? though I would argue that it *is* a romance manga, but it's not the main focus

meaning a legit 'romantic subplot'??
ahh Sorry can't guarantee that the pair's will end up together
as I have not personally read or watched all of themshy...

nevertheless, why not give em a try anyway?
