Okay, so the title might be a bit deceiving, but I haven't slept much the past few days, Castle TV Series Marathon.
Well I dunno where to post this, either on Chatter Box or here in the Music forum section, but since my following question is based on Music I thought here was more appropriate.
So after I finished my Castle TV Series Marathon, I decided to look for a song played in the 6th Episode of Perception TV Series titled Defective, but didn't find the name of it. The Episode is about.
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
Violinist who gets brain surgery to be able to keep playing the instrument

So since I know little, bah close to nothing, about Classic Music, I wondered if someone here knew what the f*** I'm talking about.

Thanks in advance,

Chayto

P.S: Will answer back when I wake up from my much needed sleep smile

Maybe it would be easier if you could find the scene where the music plays or something...?

The scenes I tried looking for are the one at minute 2 of the episode and the one at minute 40, where the violinist starts playing, I have tried and tried to find it but nothing. no

If the music had played in the show, have you tried looking at the end credits of the episode?

I couldn't tell if the music played during the show, or was just mentioned ( like oh there's this song where the singer has an such an angelic voice it literally stopped a war from happening. ...Pulling a random thing out of my head.)
The OP was a bit confusing

Just watched that minute and that is a famous piece, actually. I think it is probably by Mozart... It's been two hours and I still couldn't find the name of it (and I really want to know it too). It sounds a bit like a violin piece I saw in a movie in a ball dance scene.

... Maybe Strauss's Waltzes? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d4AmYBhGBfM I don't know.

Yeah, I read all the credits dozens of times but nothing.
I agree that it might be Mozart because of the Protagonist's reference to him but the credits don't say anything, nor any website I have searched. Guess I'll have to keep trying biggrin
