It doesn't matter that much to me, as long as what made me like the series remains the same.

Depends on the context really.

To make my point stronger about why there's no need for sex in anime/manga... Look at Moonlight mile its Almost the same as Space brothers in its central plot (two guys want to go to the moon), only the corners, chars, ambient is different BUT the most biggest difference is that one DOES have sex... yet the one without it manage to make a better use of the premise without having to use morbid sex...

i know some will complain about the demographic and stuff... about they are brothers and crap but... all of that is the different ways writers have to give us a central plot.

Ecchi is not needed, unless as maybe comic relieve. if u want boobs go watch/read hentai is my point biggrin, sometime in the future Japanese people will get that... i hope.

Depends on the style of art. If it's by my standards and I find the men attractive and appropriate for the circumstances plus sometimes it's randomly stuck in for humor and sometimes it does work for humor.

You know actually i think It would be more funny if the main char says "Now comes the fan service scene where i open the door and a half nude girl is changing" but when he opens it nothing happens.

In most cases fan service feels like the obligatory sex scenes in hollywood movies. It sucks.
Don't mind the fan service if it's at least remotely funny or at least makes a tiny bit of sense, which it doesn't in most cases.

^This. I don't mind the occasional Marshmallow Hell or Accidental Pervert moment, but when a non-ecchi series starts relying on fanservice for most of its humor, it just cheapens the work as a whole. It feels like the author's desperate to draw in a demographic that wouldn't ordinarily read his/her work in a lazy (and futile) attempt to boost readership. I have nothing at all against ecchi manga, but if I want to read ecchi, I'm going to read ACTUAL ecchi, nothing else. There's a time and place for everything, and in my opinion, gratuitous fanservice has no place outside its own genre. eyes

Pretty much every minute of every day. Unless I'm going through a video game phase or something, but even then something manga and anime related slips in between the cracks. laugh
