It's time for my yearly dosage of shoujo! There are a couple of things I'm interested in reading. I know how to category search but I want recommendations from actual people. Please only recommend manga you do like. Here are the criteria:

1. Two people with strong personalities meet and clash. Constant competition, refusal to give in to one another. Maybe one or both could be an S.
2. Guy falls in love first, declares his feelings, but is refused every time, either because the girl doesn't love him at first or because she's a tsundere. (Again I want them to not have pathetic personalities). Basically I want the guy to work for it. XD
3. Obsessive, I will never let you go kinda love.

examples that are kinda like what I want are Special A, Kaichou wa Maid-sama!, and 100% Perfect Girl. Yaoi and Josei recommendations r welcome as well.

I think Charming Junkie fits. And their one of my favourite couples, and its one of the funniest mangas I've read! =)
Koi dano Ai dano he falls in love first, she doesn't exactly reject him, but is very oblivious. So that might suit. They both have very strong personalities, and its pretty cute and funny. I'd recommended reading Warau Kanoko-sama first.
Beauty Pop I think would suit really well. I love her!

Seeing as your looking for shoujo, I feel like I have to recommended NG Life? Although it might fit a little, as he is very persistent with his love, even if he knows it'll never work.. But it is one of my absolute favourites and a must read!

If I think of any more, I'll get back to you.

I would say Last Game but the strong personality of the girl is rather silent smile

1. Clashing personalities

Totally Captivated (yaoi) - They're kinda always seem to be fighting, generally over the dynamics of their relationship. The uke's the type that doesn't want to have anything too serious. I make it sound super dramatic, but it's a really good manhwa.

2. Guy working for it

Kawaii Ore-sama - Sorta? Girl likes another guy. I think he got the girl a little too easily... but it's a one-shot.
Liar x Liar - Maybe? Girl ends up going out (on a whim at first) with her playboy step-brother while pretending to be a different person. Girl tries to break it off with him several times, as her lie has gone too far, while the guy is super persistent.

3. Obsessive

If you aren't aware already, try the male yandere tag. (I liked about 90% of these titles).

Male yanderes highlights (since not every yandere has that extra degree of obsessive/possessive love):

Heart to Give - Go read this now. This is like 100% Perfect Girl (same author), but with a 200% more possessive male lead. In the first chapter, he's actually chasing her down.
Aishite Kudasai, Sensei - Guy is crazy for the girl (literally and figuratively).
Watashi no Megane-kun - Everyone is crazy for the other.
Ouji no Hakoniwa (Yaoi) - It's more like "you can't do anything without me" love.
Mezame no Mori (yaoi) - Read "The Loose Shackle." Seme manipulates uke.

Not really yandere (due to not enough dere/"affection"), but has obsessive love:

Renai Shinjuu - Overly dramatic, but intense. In the first pages, the two are trying to commit suicide so they can be together!
Jewels - Cruel dude (who stays cruel) falls in love with heroine. He doesn't mind stepping over a couple of corpses to have her.
Scarlet Palace - Hard to say since I'm still not sure this manga is headed, but one of guys is showing signs of being really possessive later on.
Love Prism (hardcore yaoi) - Incest. Possessive older brother.
Tsumuiji ni Kiss (yaoi) - Incest. This time the older brother's more psycho.

I can't seem to get enough of these stories!

I second Koi Dano Ai Dano and Last Game.

Recommending:
Romance Papa - its not incest!
Mishounen Produce
Anatolia Story

since you mentioned S behaviour, you can check out S no Kaikoroku . Don't be discouraged by the rating.

I've read koi dano ai dano, warau kanoko-sama and beauty pop. I really loved those manga so I'm guessing we have similar tastes. Charming Junkie and NG Life just went to my priority list, they look great! Thanks!!! ^____^

Well so long as she's not a crying weakling! I really like the plot description, kinda reminds me of Special A. I'll be reading this one as well

OMG dude so many!!! I've read the yaoi suggestions n Kawaii ore-sama. Looooove the plot to liar x liar so I'm definitely reading that. So many obsessive love suggestions, I hope they're good cause my experience with em is that they can be epic and just plain brilliant or the complete opposite. I'm very excited about reading Heart to Give most of all! 200% more possessive?! eek MUST READ!!!

biggrin Romance Papa looks cool. I wouldn't mind even if it was incest, I'll read pretty much anything but Yuri. But yeah, I'm always in the lookout for good manhwa. I never checked the tags for Mishounen Produce so I didn't know he was gonna get possessive, I definitely must read it now! I always wanted to read Anatolia Story but someone told me it was a tragedy. Did they lie or is it a minor tragedy?
a.i. not like Absolute Boyfriend
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
where the guy "dies" at the end

Or, is the story so good people don't even care about the tragedy, whatever it may be.

Oh n I'm gonna read S no Kaikoroku too, it's a oneshot so the rating doesn't bother me much.

Think I'll start reading Charming Junkie first since it was the first recommendation, it's completely scanlated, and it was on my wish list already (actually a lot of your recommendations were on my wish list, but it's so big that I dread going through it). You guys have been a great help. Thanks! smile

XD brother/sister complex! Yay! Specially great if it fits my second request. I'll check this out as well.

All these awsm suggestions might just get me to start reading shoujo regularly again, instead of yaoi all the time. laugh

It is definitely not tragedy, so don't worry. It's pure shoujo and sticks to the "happily ever after" tagline.

I just thought of Dear, and it seems no one has mentioned it yet. I'd recommend reading the prequel Watashi no Ookami-san first. The male falls in love first, and is pretty possessive. Its a really good, cute manga, that kept me giggling all the way through. If your looking for something kind of sweet =)
