There are multiple things that made me frown today.

The first one was that everyone won't stop talking about Donald Trump. I'm not a fan of Trump myself, but it just annoys me to no end.

The other one was that some little kid walked up to me and attempted to steal a cookie I was eating...the parents were right there too...

Gosh, (Homura_heart, don't read this) yes to the people saying Trump. It's truly incomprehensible to me that a man who sexually harassed numerous women and then bragged about 'grabbing them in the pussy' is the new president of the United States. THE NEW POTUS IS A PUSSY-GRABBER, PEOPLE! Reading about the hate crimes that have been committed since the election is so depressing, and thinking about what he'll actually do with the backing of a Republican congress and conservative Supreme Court is simply horrifying... for the whole world, since he's a climate change denier.

I dropped an empty beer bottle at my restaurant job today and it bounced several times. Then the whole restaurant clapped and cheered for me because it didn't break. I was so embarrassed. cry

The whole restaurant went silent to watch my accident. ugh *dies*

I went to the library hoping to get the next volume of a manga I was reading, but it turns out they were out of stock.

The neighbors upstairs are so annoying. All the ruckus the former tenant caused...also led to the light fixture crashing down...good thing my sister wasn't there because I would have f up whoever did that.

My present neighbor isn't so much better too. Nobody wants to hear a little romp or a pet dog stomping around at 5am in the morning. If I get my own place, I'll make sure to get the hell out of these inconsiderate people and live somewhere far away, away from society.

2016 took Carrie Fisher with it. I donĀ“t even... I myself had a great year but i also seem to be the exception.

My best friend of 20 years moved away to be with her boyfriend. I'm devastated. It's okay though, it's all for her happiness. That's what being an adult is like I guess. I just didn't know it would happen so soon and I took the time with her for granted.

Wasn't exactly today but had to do 3 days of jury duty (not including the first jury selection day.) They only paid me $15 per day, and I had to take off days from work. The reimbursement is a joke. My jobs don't pay for jury duty sad

Did i just read that the US president wants to build a wall and have the Mexicans pay for it? Have people learned nothing from the last time such shit was done with the DDR.
Which planet am i living on? Which year is this? What are the positives here? confused
Edit: The Doomsday Clock bit below is very Watchmen-esque too.

Oh jeez, each new day is like waiting for a time-bomb to go off. Trump is doing so many terrible things every day that it's hard to keep track. I hope people will be rolling through with the impeachment proceedings soon, because I don't want to see what the U.S., or the world, will look like if Trump manages to remain in office any longer.

But terribly ill-conceived gag orders and Muslim bans aside, someone on twitter posted this, and I thought it was very well-conceived, so here:

Quote
Liberals are shocked that a President is doing everything they said they would on the campaign trail because their candidates never do.

Also, Trump's press secretary Sean Spicer literally prints out tweets that Trump takes issue with and complains about them to the press. Is this even real life anymore.
