As our member tactics suggested, it's a similar poll as last week's but with anime fansubs. In my case, I actually haven't watched anime in maybe the last 6 years... But I did archive a lot of the shows I did watch back then. Still got all the episodes of Cardcaptor Sakura on CD, 4 episodes per CD (didn't have blank DVDs back then). Awesome manga and anime, by the way, so I would recommend getting it if you don't mind a little old-school stuff.

You can submit poll ideas here (and try to keep them manga/anime-related)
http://www.mangaupdates.com/showtopic.php?tid=3903

Previous Poll Results:
Question: Do you archive scanlations?
Choices:
Yes, everything - votes: 2333 (21.6%)
Only a few - votes: 3575 (33%)
I read and delete - votes: 842 (7.8%)
I only read online - votes: 3938 (36.4%)
I don't read scanlations - votes: 134 (1.2%)
There were 10822 total votes.
The poll ended: February 8th 2014

Goes to show the prevalence of online reader sites

I watch and delete. I watch original animes & not manga adaptions.

I've downloaded like, maybe less than 10 series of anime over the years.
I don't download many of them. I mostly stream online. What usually sways me to download is if I think I'll enjoy watching them again. Like Sakura Trick. I am totally archiving that at the moment. Who wouldn't want access to fluffy yuri whenever you want =P

*Looks at his 3 anime folders adding up to 1.38TB*

Nope.

Seriously though, I archive them as long as I finish them and they're not rage-inducing piles of manure (eg. Blood C, Kyoukai no Kanata, Kyoshiro to Towa no Sora)

I miss the "most of them" option... because there is only a few that I stream (those where it doesn't matter that the quality is bad because the graphics are of no concern anyway). But I'll archive the good ones to watch them together with friends...

No. I used to, but nowdays it is much faster/more convenient to just redownload it again instead of looking for the HDD with that particular show.

*looks at his three hard drives of anime...
I blame BD releases. Those are freaking ginormous, though most of it I leeched off a guy on my university's DC hub. He had like 5TB+ of just anime and another 10TB+ of TV and movies...

I stream. I don't download because it takes up a shitload of space and also I"m not a huge fan of anime. I like manga more because 1)I get more story and less filler +original story 2)I like to "multitask" while watching so I don't want to go through the trouble of having to read subs just to watch something

I would if it's an asian drama or a western tv show I really think is good. Lol will that be next week's poll xD
I used to always buy movie dvds (have over 100) but in the last few years I've resorted to downloading/streaming those too.

I download, but delete after watching (same goes for tv series etc). I only have three archived, Howl's Moving Castle, Kaiba and Mononoke.

Download in HD, watch on TV. Will archive it, if it was at least decent. Delete if not. Download again in Full HD and save it on my local hdd as well as on my external, if it was really good.

I used to stream, but once you get used to higher quality and a big screen, you can't settle with less laugh

Watch and delete. I don't watch anime as much as I read manga. Once I've seen the manga's art, I can't help but be disappointed with anime art(there are exceptions ofcourse). When I do want to watch one, I just download, watch, and delete. I never stream.

I used to archive manga and anime at one time, but I didn't really end up rewatching anime and for manga I can just read it online, so I stopped archiving stuff.

This is a bit off topic, but I was also one of those people obsessing with both the manga and anime of Cardcaptor Sakura. It's not everyday you could find such a solid manga AND equally awesome anime to go along, especially for a rather older series like it.
