I only archive anime that I would like to watch again. I feel there is no point in archiving them if I will not rewatch it. (This is especially true if the quality of the video provided in fansubs is better than what is provided on licensed releases....Where is my Mushishi BluRay release Funimation?? *looks sadly at her DVD set* )

As there are only a couple of anime that I feel are worth archiving, I go on massive deleting sprees~ laugh

I don't archive anime.

I gave up trying to download any anime a couple of years ago, when the biggest fansubbers I knew went to 10-bit video. I'll never understand why they did it, since animation is not like real-world video in terms of having deep visual detail to bring out, AND at least my portion of the personal computer world (Mac-dom) doesn't support 10-bit even now. However, they did, so that's that.

I have very few archived. Even if I download any, I delete them if I don't feel like watching them again. So the only ones to remain are the ones I don't get tired of.

I only archive if all of the following are true:
-I enjoyed it
-I feel I might rewatch it at some point
-the quality is at least 720p BD, which means I basically delete every TV version after I watched it

Goes to show the prevalence of online reader sites

People who download archives: 21.6% + 33% + 7.8% = 62.4%
People who only read online: 36.4%

Yes, clearly show...

Do you understand what 'only a few' means? Obviously for those people they only archive a few series while rest of what they read could only possibly be done ONLINE, so you can't count all that huge 33% to 'people who download archives', genius.

People who read online usually don't save anything. People who save manga archives on hdd/dvd/whatever usually download most of their manga, and then deleting most of it, preserving only a few. Online-reader users mostly have entirely another mindset.

tl;dr you wrong, fug u.
