I'm looking for a manga with lot's opf action and a fair amount of romance... I've yet to read one I thought was good. Everything is on the table, EXCEPT Yaoi and Yuri.

I'd prefer the manga be completed, but it's not a requirement. Hopefully it's near complete at least.

You could try:
Gokusen
Tokyo Crazy Paradise
Saver

I've read Tokyo Crazy... Do the other two have a better and more romance than that one did? Because Tokyo Crazy barely had any.

Hoshi no Samidare isn't on your lists. Complete. Don't worry about the wacky synopsis, it's actually quite good. Maybe too light on romance to your taste though.

Angel Heart Ongoing. Side Story/Sequel to City Hunter.

Kanata Kara Complete. Shoujo romance in fantasy world, good action too.

Gokusen definitely had the most romance than any of the other ones, but romance was not the focus in Saver. smile wink grin

I understand about not being the focus... I don't really care about that, I just want a fair bit of it. Like a few very good heartwarming scenes amongst all the violence... Maybe.

Gokusen definitely has that and in Saver not really, since it was axed. I would also recommend:
Superior
Rave
Magico (IWAMOTO Naoki) - this one was nice and cute! biggrin

Basara, though this is more of a shameless plug to get you to read a good series.

BTW: The MC has to get the girl of his choosing at the end... basically there isn't a random death in order to shock the readers. The girl and guy have to both live and, at least be implied, together. No rush endings crap either.

I've read Superior, Rave, Magico.... All goo examples [though could have been better with a little more IMO].

I've also read Basara... I didn't care for the way the romance was written. The story was great and held me to the end, but The entire series she was fawning over one guy while she was practically in love with another. IN the end, the one guy died in order for the rather awkward and barely existent couple to be together. Totally turned me off the series.

Turn A Gundam did the same thing.... Only that ending was total crap.

Let's also see about:
Flame Recca [though without the oblivious/idiotic MC's]
Battle Royale [very good example]

something along those lines would be good....

Now a question: How is Alive - The Final Evolution in terms of romance and action?

Abide in the Wind though few chapters are translated... however it is a Naver webtoon and there's over 100 chapters you can view -- there's a lot of romance in this one! and it's really pretty

Kubera well there isn't a whole lot of romance but the romance at the same time has a huge effect on how the characters respond to situations so... idk it's a really good series just try it lol

World Embryo and Chrno Crusade, same mangaka

Angel Densetsu lol

Gakuen Alice

idk though if you thought Tokyo Crazy Paradise didn't have a lot of romance O_O these may not work... lol i guess we all have our own views but i'm surprised i thought TCP had a ton of it, more of it than skip beat really

Tokyo Crazy did have a bunch of romance, but it was like muted... It's hard to explain. Like there weren't enough moments that were just the two of them. Like they were together, but they always felt really distant from each other. There were very few heartwarming moments and way too many rivals for them. I would have liked to see more "awww" moments.

Not a bad series, just not as strong in that department.

World Embryo... I started that a long time ago, but it didn't have romance back then [unless you count his obsession with his dead friend/wanna-be girlfriend]. Did that change at all since the first few chapters I read?

Chrno Crusade was a good series and I really liked it... the ending gutted me though I've had trouble rereading it ever since. Great series though, just have to be in the right mind set for it.

Angel Densetsu....................................... yeah.................. that was a fun series......

Kubera? I'll have to check that one out...

Abide in the Wind - I'll check this one out as well, but why did they stop translating it? I hate when that happens.

Gakuen Alice? That seems more like a romcom then an action/romance. Not really looking for shoujo [unless it's good].

Full Metal Panic I thought the series gets a little odd in the later half, but I still enjoyed it.

bloody cross : a good action/romance series , i like the main guy , though he isn't strong but he is one hell manipulative guy, always get out the situation with his Mouth.

Feng Shen Ji : a good action/romance manhwa , i bet you read it , if you didn't , you are missing one hell of manga

Holy land: it has a bit of romance but a good action series .

Kazan : a good action/romance series , it is good , although the romance isn't the main plot but it is always there and it has awesome story line and please don't judge it for the art , the setting is refreshing .

Thanks for the suggestions... if there is anymore don't be skimpy. I'm dying of lack of what I want.

Lol I know how you feel man, back then I was also desperate of something like this.
Well, I ended up quite a bit disappointed though since there were barely any that I found interesting and I kinda forgot about most of them.

Anyway, I gotta say that you read many things that I was gonna recommend like Tsukihime, Highschool DxD, Mahouka, etc.

But I see there's no Chrome Shelled Regios (Novel) in your list. Did you dropped it or did you not know? Cuz I think this one has pretty good world building, likable characters and solidly developing plot.
It has romance though not much since it's not the focus anyway but it's clearly there. And don't worry, he did end up with someone he chose at the end.
I'll also add that it's already completed which match with what you're looking for.
