I think the last page of chapter 185 said something about the author continueing the series. has any heard anything?

In volume 20 Yabuki Sensei did say that to him it was just the end of season 1. I want him to start season 2 It's my favorite manga. I was like NOOOOOOO when it ended HAHA The anime did show the reast of the Chrono Numbers but I want to see them in the manga that would be great HAHA.

I don't know but I doubt it the series finished in 2004 so I think if the author was going to write more he would have done it by now.
Either way I would love it if he did continue

Yabuki sensei is busy with To love ru darkness, neko overrun now, and also his daily life. Continue with Black Cat truly needs more materials to work more than to love ru, since it requires a deeper story, not just random slice of life ecchi jokes lol. 
despite that, I really want a new season of BC though  love the series, one of my 1st steps in manga world.
off topic: I realize that BC art is changed once in middle of the series to the one recently as we can see in To love ru. I prefer the old art though, It make Train more mature and bad ass look, the new Train looks more like Rito
