No longer looking for a group.
Been in one for a week or two already, my appologies for not having changed this post sooner.

Your post doesn't scream out "PR capable" by the way you write. Anything groups can base your level off of, e.g., written material? I'm not certain how many people care about grades since that doesn't actually mean anything in the end.

I wouldn't jump into the QCer if you don't have some editing skills. I see QCer as some that can fix minor errors on a release instead of sending it back to the editor.

For the proofreader, you just need to have control of your English.

Most group do have tests they can give you (They are not lazy like me) so if you find a group to join, just take their test and you will see if you are capable of being their proofreader or not.

The editing skills are some you can learn from the start but I think most groups do not need QCers but only editors/cleaners/typesetters.

^ I agree with them. Could you provide some examples of your work? Just based on saying you worked for non-profit doesn't really tell us your skills.Quality Checker is a lot harder than you think it is, so like T1 suggested, don't try that if you don't know anything about editing skills.
