How often do you drop mangas? -
Do you try any manga, but drop them as soon as you it bores you? Or do you only read things you know you'll like, and hardly drop any?
slight edit If you drop manga right away those should count towards your answer of how often.
*NOTE This is how often you drop manga, not why you drop them.
I have a compulsive need to finish things I start, so I hardly drop any mangas. There's a difference between taking a break from a manga, and deciding to never pick it up again. I often need breaks from bad ones, but I do finish them. I've only dropped 9 mangas in adventures of reading manga.
My drop rate is 1.2% based on the 800+ I have finished, and 9 I dropped. (Numbers completed based on this post )

I guess this is a remake of the fickle readers thread (which is locked most likely due to it being similar to the what turns you off about a manga thread), but instead of asking why, I just want to know if you are one, and how often you do drop manga. I hope there isn't any other similar threads out there ...
- I decide to let you guys decide what percentage the three middle options in the poll means.

I almost never formally drop series, but I do inadvertently put them on indefinite hold because I forget to finish them and/or is never in the mood to read them. That happens quite often...

I usually don't drop mangas. It actually almost never happened... 23 mangas dropped and I have way more on my lists (I have 471 only on my complete list). I use the "on hold" lists a lot, but now I've been focusing on reading everything I kept there
Somehow, after starting to read, I feel compelled to finish them. I only drop it if I really hate it and I can't handle it. If it bores me but I can handle it, I just put it on hold.

Nah I hardly drop manga. Especially if I've invested time into reading it. Sometimes they just go through bad patches, so I usually stick through with them to the end.
To be honest, I "drop" right at the beginning when I start to read. I know then whether I'll want to continue or just forget it. I don't drop manga halfway through the series.

I rarely read a manga that doesn't sound or look like it would interest me, and thus far.. I've dropped 3 manga.
Air Gear, Break Shot, and The God Of High School.
The level of stupidness in both Air Gear and TGoHS got to out of hand, while I'm actually giving Break Shot another chance. This is the other reason why I don't drop alot of manga; I give lots of things second chances.

Mmm... About a half of the time? Looking at my lists I've got about 500 between my reading and complete list and 300 between my Unfinished and On Hold list.

Woah! I respect you guys for not dropping mangas often @___@
I voted 'Too often' on the poll because I really think I do drop manga too often.
My drop rate is currently 36.2%//210 unfinished manga

It happens sometimes but rarely. I've had a few mangas that I suddenly loose interest in or even dislike the way it's direction would be and skip to the few last chapters or just bluntly stop reading and remove from my phone so that I don't have to think about it. It's more often to find a great manga or just a manga that ticks all my boxes to realize it's been axed/discontinued without warning/on infinite hiatus (refering to a certain The Legend of Maian's annoying hiatus)

I do drop mangas occasionally, but most of the time, I just read up to the latest release and forget about the series completely, or even if I do remember it, just dont come around to reading it again.

Every now and then I suppose. Either cause I lost interest, too lazy, or simply, it was boring. Sometimes if I get pissed off or lost patience to wait for releases I drop them as well. Once in a while, I end up picking up mangas that are just no good... and I'd end up dropping every manga I start within three chaps. Pretty sure I wouldn't be the only one with this problem. You're bored, and you can't find anything good, so you take whatever that's at hand and find that cheap substitutes just won't do.
There's times when I had to go do something else, or the comp crashed or something while I was in the middle of reading. Those tend to make up most of the mangas I drop, just too lazy to get back to it, especially true if I lost track of the chapter number.

I try not to, unless the manga is really bad to begin with. If the manga becomes bad all of sudden, i probably will keep reading it. Most of the "drops' are because I forget about the non-completed manga.

Seldom. I'm a rather stubborn person, so if I'm started something I'm gonna finish it. But sometimes I just forget about stuff that I'm reading and when/if I remember I usually don't finish/start reading it again, because if I've forgoten about a certain work it's probably nothing special or simply that I lost intrest while reading it.
Sometimes I also drop stuff because it's very long and/or ongoing and nothing enjoyable, that's just waisting time (but as said, I'm stubborn, so I might finish something even if it fits these requirements).
