What is the best way to translate a dialect or accent of the original language that is not the norm (e.g., Kansai-ben)?
Different country's English accent (e.g., Irish or Australian)
Different American regional accent (e.g., Southern)
Have the character use different slang (e.g., 'pops' instead of 'dad')
Minor speech pattern differences (e.g., dropping the 'g' in '-ing' words)
No difference in translation but have a translation note

Favorite manga saga and arcs

What are some of your favorite anime/manga stories (sagas and arcs). By that I meant it should be like the usual storyline and it should have a beginning, middle, and end. And can you give a rate for them.

For example, if you gonna mention the Chunnin Exam (Naruto), then it should also included the invasion of Konoha, since the plots and tensions set up in the former doesn't get solve until the latter. Kinda like the appearance of Aojiki at the end Davy Back Fight to Water 7 and Ennies Lobby and post Ennies Lobby for One Piece to be consider as one story. I guess in anime it is harder, but like Magi's story divided neatly into seasons. Season 1 and season 2 of Magi can be consider separate story. Since all the arcs made up of each season play off with each others in term of plot and pay off.

Or something like 20th Century Boys, I guess you could consider each timeskipped as a separate story. Or for Berserk, you have to consider the entire Golden Arc as one story.

hmmm, it would be nice to see how each manga compare to each others via this way.

My favorite arc is the Golden Age arc in Berserk. It's a masterpiece.

The Ultimate Weapon arc from Cobra is awesome, adventure, romance and a powerful ennemy. The trick used to defeat Crystal Boy is clever. A great adventure in space.

First one that came to mind was the chimera arc from Hunter x Hunter. Not necessarily the best arc, but I loved it.

Unless it's as good as One Piece/Kuroko No Basket/Yu Yu Hakusho/Beelzebub/DragonBall/HunterXHunter of course.
