Im looking for manga that can make you laugh even it is sad something like Lovely Complex when risa for the first time got rejected by otani and keep saying bear curry while crying. to me its kind of funny but sad, if you know what I mean.

and another example like [it's not my fault that Im not popular] when I read this I laugh a lot. the main character is so patheticly funny even shes a lonely person.

if you know some manga like this please tell me. I would like to read it soon. biggrin

ah please no yaoi and yuri shonen ai and shoujo ai wink

My Girl (SAHARA Mizu) - bittersweet, don't make you laugh but smile

Kuragehime
Taiyou no Ie
Oyasumi Punpun Although probably too dark
Bakuman There's the same feeling about the fat manga assistant

Oh, I definitely second Kuragehime. You should also read HIGASHIMURA Akiko's other works too (ex. Kakukaku Shikajika, Omoni Naitemasu)

Have you read all of NAKAHARA Aya's manga? Her characters are typically in that vein. Lovely Complex is my favourite, but Junjou Drop, Dame na Watashi ni Koishite Kudasai, and the others are fun too.
I think Haru x Kiyo kind of gives off the same kind of energy. Also by the same mangaka, Ootagawa Junjou Lovers and maybe not so much Atashi no Banbi.
What else... Nakanmon! a little?
Maybe Seigi no Mikata
...Seishunchuu! haha...
Ah... does Don't Cry, Girl count? It's pretty much 100% on crack but it's a lot of fun.

Hmm.... I'm sure there's more, but there's nothing else that comes to mind now. I'll add more later.

Sket Dance is mostly really, really funny, but some side stories range from a little sad to heart wrenching (although I didn't cry in the manga, but cried bucket loads in the anime version). Also, if you find yourself bored in the first few chapters, just keep reading a bit because it gets better over time.

@oneeyed
I knew kurogahime, its a good manga. but its not what im looking for. Im not getting the bitter part.
and I already read taiyou no ie too.

oyasumi punpun and bakuman I've been thingking to read it. but somehow im not interested when I read the first two chapter. kinda boring to me (maybe because im judging this series). thanks for your recomendation anyway. smile

Arigatou It's really messed up, but my black heart found some parts funny. Mostly the little sister, because well, what happened to the older sister early on...not so funny no
I think parts of it can fall into very dark humor, and well into dead baby humor.
Genshiken self deprecating humor for the unwashed otaku masses
