What is the best way to translate a dialect or accent of the original language that is not the norm (e.g., Kansai-ben)?
Different country's English accent (e.g., Irish or Australian)
Different American regional accent (e.g., Southern)
Have the character use different slang (e.g., 'pops' instead of 'dad')
Minor speech pattern differences (e.g., dropping the 'g' in '-ing' words)
No difference in translation but have a translation note

I would like to know where can I find a list of dropped manga series. I think a list like this is highly informative for the different scanlating groups. ^_^

You should make one. Just go through all manga here sorted by the number of people reading, and check each one to see when the last release was and what the scanlator has to say about the status. Because yes, it would be somewhat informative and even useful.
