I'm looking for
1 ) Manga with strategic wars, political fights etc.. like Chang ge Xing :http://www.mangaupdates.com/series.html?id=67608 or In Full Bloom (YON Jae-Won) : http://www.mangaupdates.com/series.html?id=69750
2 ) Manga where fights are determined using strategy and brains instead of brute force like classic shounen mangas. Example: Tower of god: http://www.mangaupdates.com/series.html?id=55901

Pretty sure you've heard of Shingeki no Kyojin but gonna list it anyways.
Also, there's All You Need is Kill which I believe fits into category 2.

Shoukoku no Altair will fit into the 1st category, its my favorite strategy manga besides Chang ge Xing
also if you like reading novels there is Rakuin no Monshou (Novel) which has some amazing strategy as well
as for the second one Bokura no Kiseki should fit pretty well

2.
HIgh-rise Invasion - Sort of. Female lead surprised me with her reasoning abilities. (I usually don't expect much from female leads with male demographics, because I've been burned too many times.) Though, this manga isn't really about a battle of wits, it's more of an mystery with action as consequence.

Thanks for all recommendations
Yeah, I read it already. It is great
All You Need is Kill has so few chapters. I'm waiting for more chapters. And I've read shingeki no kyojin already
I will give Rakuin no Monshou (Novel) a look when i have time. I've read others.
Gonna check it.
Edit: Although it doesnt really fit categories I loved it. Wish it had more chapters though

you might like saver http://www.mangaupdates.com/series.html?id=8077 but don't judge it from the first volume the story starts from the 2nd volume (but the first volume is important for the story too)
