I'm looking for a action manga (or anime, doesn't matter) with a male protagonist who cares for the female lead.
Some examples of this: *means great example +means it's okay
Nanatsu no Taizai* (Meliodas cares for Elizabeth, which was shown in the recent chapters.)
Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood** (Oh my god, even if it was just subtle, I really loved Ed and Winry.)

Bokura no Kiseki -does not really focus on the romance but when it does show it it is very cute. but this is not really a light read and it has a lot of words. but if your up for it, its pretty good.

Erementar Gerad -this one definitely, the MC crosses the country to find the garden that rin is looking for

Shinobi Life -this one focuses mostly on romance but it does have action in it.
