now the reason i think the third was conditioning naruto to love konaha like how soilders are conditioned to love their countries is because as hokage sarutobi has a lagre amount of control of the village resources and power now i dont see way a man that a man that can order the exicution of any one who tells naruto what he is, cannot give naruto a better life in a family or at lest a bigger safer apartment OR HIS GOD DAME INHARITANCE MONEY FROM HIS PARENTS TO LIVE OFF OF.
come to think of it when the teacher in the academy perpusly neglected naruto's education it caused him to be the dead last in class. he might have matured emotionaly and physicaly but mentaly he is not fit for even the simplest of civilian jobs and would have resort to being a ninja to pay for food ,rent and bills.
. what bothier me is that as a jinchuriki naruto is constantly being watch be anbu that report directly to the hokage who also observes him throw his chrisle ball and see the mistreatment he gets at school but does nothing more than hush naruto and tell him that its nothing to worry about.
and do you honestly want to know why....why sarutobi the god of shinobi and third hokage let all of this go on ....well it quit simple if you think about it.....were do you think asuma get his stratagist skills from ......the answer my dear reader ...is... Stockholm Syndrome
.yes all these years the third hokage has been slowly changing naruto's view's of the cevilians cold treatment toward's him. making the poor boy think that he can get there love be becoming a ninja and protecting konaha. DON'T GET ME WRONG THE THIRD HOKAGE IS NOT CRAZY,EVIL,SICK OR A MONSTER. he is just a man who seeks the best interests for his people .
THE THIRD HAS GROWN FEELING FOR NARUTO WHICH IS WHY HE WAS NOT PLACED IN ROOT.
as hokage he had to make very hard chooses .
as a leader he has to take responsibility .
if he did not condition naruto into the happy idiot who would give every one he mate a second chance
he would have to kill him to protect konaha from the hatred of the kyuubi.
for naruto... would turn out even worse than garra.
