Hello, im kinda new to this site. Im generally a lurker of various forums and a avid manga reader but i found this "Im looking for" section and decided muster the courage to make a post.

What im looking for is basically is Psychological Manga/Manhwa. Mainly whose characters who use mainly their heads to come out of trouble or get the best out of a bad situation. They try to manipulate the situation to their favor and try to understand how their "enemies" think to plan ahead the correct attack or figure out how they will get attacked. That is the kind of manga/manhwa i enjoy the most and what im looking for at the moment. Im NOT looking for the kind Psychological mangas that have characters with mental barriers or issues and try to deal with them.

Overall i tend to embrace Seinen mangas more than shonnens but if there is a good Psychological shonnen i would gladly read it. Im not put off by fantasy nor sci-fi, as long as the rules and world setting are set and the manga abides by them, its all enjoyable to me.

Here are some reference of mangas i have read before so you know what i have read and what i think about them:

Liar Game: One of my favorites, this has everything i look for and i would recommend anyone to read it. Love how the characters develop and each game keeps every character on their toes and you have to be very keen to get ahead. Would love to find something like this.

Death Note: Probably the first manga i read, love everything about it and its what got me into the Psychological genre. Im not put off by the fantasy aspects of it either. If its well explained into the world you create inside the manga and stick to those rules i can ejoy it too.

One Outs: I really like sports so this is a perfect manga for me. If you know of any manga that mixes sports with wits to get a win like this one then i will love you forever. Most sports mangas just try and develop a new powerful technique to overcome power with more power and thats not really what im looking for.

Danganronpa: Really fun, i played the game too. This is another example of what i enjoy and im looking for.

Akumetsu: Also read it, and love it

Things im not really looking for at the moment:

- Hunter x Hunter
- NHK ni Youkoso!
- Psyren
- Soul Eater
- xxxHoLic
- Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuuutsu

These are all marked as Psychological and they are great but some of them just have a small part of them when people actually think ahead and try to overcome obstacles using their wits or some of them just have people with deep Psychological issues and try to overcome them.

Chang Ge Xing -a pretty good strategic one and is seinen but sort of slow paced

Dr. Frost -not an action and more slice of life but he does use his mind to help his clients get better

Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei -definitely this one though i didnt like how many girl characters there were but if your ok with harems go for it

Kuroshitsuji -MC does not fight at all he comes up with ideas to beat them and although it does not have the psychological genre it definitely is

Shoukoku no Altair -MC fights sometimes but mostly makes the strategy and coordinates the battles

and maybe Bloody Monday -he does not fight, but he is an awesome hacker so he fights with his computer

Maybe check out the mind games and/or the strategic minds categories if you haven't already.

Some actual recommendations:
ES
Kurosagi
Monster
Montage (WATANABE Jun)
Spiral - Suiri no Kizuna
Umineko no Naku Koro ni
Zetsuen no Tempest

Not "psychological" but has a lot of tactics/strategic planning:
Arpeggio of Blue Steel
Cesare
Gunka no Baltzar
Historie
Shoukoku no Altair
World Trigger
