Akame ga kill!, incomplete though. Maybe Berserk but it's incomplete as well.

Both Basara and 7 Seeds have tragic moments (they are by the same mangaka). I haven't finished Basara, and 7 Seeds is ongoing, so I don't know if they will end with redemption, but so far

Angel Sanctuary, and also YUKI Kaori's [m]Godchild[/m]
Hunter x Hunter, also ongoing, is exactly this. Little
Threads of Time - I've only read the first volume, but it's shaping up to go there.
