hey guys i have recently started wanting to read a manga with the following setting, MC is living his ordinary everyday life and then something happens and he discovers that he has supernatural powers(or he gains them), i know this describes like half of the shounen out there but there is something more specific i want.

all the manga that i have read where the MC has some sort of special power the evil people seem to be biased against him and all want to him dead for some reason, so i want the other side or the "bad guys" to want his powers, or more specifically want him on their side because of his powers. basically i want them to treat him special from the other characters.

i would like the MC to be a guy and there be little to no romance in it. and please no ecchi BL or GL

some examples of some i like that kind of fit are
07 Ghost -wanted Teito because he is the vessel to the eye of Michael, even went to the point of erasing his memories so he would join their side

Shirayukihime to 7-nin no Shuujin -though doesn't really fit because they decide that he is not worth it really quick and decide to kill him

Gakuen Alice -though this does not happen until like chapter 90

First one to come to mind, Black Cat. I only watched the anime, and the MC techically wasn't ever really normal, but the villain is just... Well, if you've ever seen Hunter x Hunter, Creed (the baddie) is a bit like Hisoka, but more obsessive about getting the MC on his side. It's unintentionally (?) hilarious.

It is comic ,but it is awesome ,Check out Tower of God .

i know of this one though i have not read it because i dont like older drawing that much but ill probably try it. i have a question though, is creed more of a main character then hisoka? because i like hisoka's creepy personality but he does not show up very often


ill try this one though im more in the mood for a serious manga at the moment and it looks like this one focuses on comedy

I don't want this kind of hero

it's a Korean webcomic, not sure if it's translated into English. It appears to be mostly gag at first, but it has these shocking moments of violence and deep-seeded themes that surprise the readers who go in expecting light-hearted comedy. I wouldn't consider it a "serious" read, but it definitely isn't light either. The genre is difficult to define.

The MC has OP psychic powers and is recruited to be a hero. But because he is so powerful, the baddies also want him on their side and repeatedly approach him with offers to hire him. I personally love the apathetic personality of the MC, as well as how the various organizations and individuals around him challenge his opinions and world views.

The Breaker NW - Everybody want to either kill the MC or make him join some group.
Ajin - MC is wanted by both goverment and the bad guys` organization.
Karneval - in Gareki and Nai are interested both the good and the bad guys.
Gepetto - Wale is wanted by everybody. Latter Clody as well.
Kataribe no List - List is wanted by the bad guys.
Tokyo Ghoul - it fits but I am not sure who is evil in the manga so ... In MC are interested some people with questionable moralities.
Id - Bad guys want ID on their side.
Blue Exorcist - Rin isn`t on the side of the demons, but they want him as Satan`s son to take on his heritage.
Crimezone - MC is supposed to be mate with the bad guy`s queen so every evil under the sun comes to get him and take his genes -.-
D,Gray-man - When Allen is found out to be the 14th the bad guys start treating him as a familly.
Veritas - MC is discipline of a master martial artist. When the master dies MC is taken by the organization that killed him.
