Lol, I read it the next time.
So, will something special happen that? Would groups release a special birthday release present or something... (hint)
Does MU get a new skin after 10 years?

At one point in time, we were working on a new skin. Then real life called and some programming staff left... sigh...

I guess I was one of those that voted 2004 that should probably have voted 2005. On the other hand, I do remember using a similar site before MU (Daily Manga I think it was called; edit: nope Manga Jouhou) before settling on MU so maybe I was here from the beginning?
I used to staff for Manga Jouhou (or I knew it as Manga News) too, before it got hacked and defaced. And Daily Manga was one of the best resources for scanlations before 2004. Very good historical data there.

My profile says 6 years, 9 months... so it must have been 7+ years, since I don't sign up for a site unless I've feel the absolute need to. This account was even registered with the second email I've ever owned, crazy.
I remember switching between Manga Jouhou and MU, but chose MU because the download links made getting releases so much easier. Hahaha, those were the days of IRC (#lurk anyone?), DDL, and little to no online manga readers.

Well I don't remember when I first found the site but I voted based on when I started using it regularly (didn't have an account then since I don't use MU for lists and such) which is somewhere between 2-3 years I suppose? Not sure. Already forgot what I voted xD

hmm 2 years and 8 months... after finding this it took me a couple of minutes to sign up.
Almost no ads, friendly and open user base and extensive information on manga, so that was a no-brainer...
so many "older" people here, I still feel like a junior^^

Didn't make an account until 2010 but I've been using this site since I started reading online in '08.

It is, but its also interesting/amusing to see what people vote.
Statistically speaking, unless you have a SUPER hardcore fanbase/community, the poll should look like an upward slope, with the two ends being the lowest (due to the lack of publicity/starting up/etc and because the year usually hasn't ended).
In reality, people (generally) bullshit these polls. They usually vote for the two extreme ends, even though (sometimes) the poll operators can PROVE that such results are literally impossible. (Imagine how embarrassing it would be if lambchopsil made a news post with the poll results saying "Man look at all these idiots who voted for 2004. The site wasn't even up in 2004, it was started in 2005! trololololo")
