Hey guys,

I have an IMPOSSIBLE request for you today biggrin
Well, at least difficult. Most Yaoi-couples have a really 'complicated' relationship. I would love to read something about a healthy/normal relationship for a change.

I don't care under which circumstances the couple is brought together. But what i mean is that afterwards, when they are officially together, there are for example no rape-like sex scenes. Both parties want it and the uke is not always surprised or totally scared when that happens. The seme is not a dominant, scary, perverted asshole. They both are able to show their feelings, talk about problems, love and adore the other one (argumnets can be a part of the story, that's alright).

I hope you know what i mean. smile Just something you would call a good relationship in real life as well. The setting is not important for me. Slice of life, sci-fi etc... is alright.

Unfortunately I can't recall any specific examples cry Maybe Punch Up?

You can ask more questions if you like and I'm grateful for very recommendation eyes

I'm glad you like it so far ... I just hope the last volume doesn't ruin anything ....

Some other suggestions. (Which I like dark twisty stuff so it was very hard for me to find something >.< )

Dear Green: Hitomi no Ounowa and it's sequel Dear Green
Higouhou Junai
Kakko Warukute Kakkoii Kimi
Hidoi Otoko. This one might be a stretch ...
After Morning Love
Hana*Koi maybe ...

I hope these other suggestions work well with what you're looking for.

Rutta to Kodama should be a perfect fit! It's one of my favorites, because they're so sweet to each other all the time.

Puchi Puri also has this sort of sweet, innocent love. Very cute.

waaa, thank you so much, i will look through them, some of them i think i already know ^^

@kitty1826x: I was at work today, so i finished all 6 volumes =P and nothing was ruined at all, i really liked it smile

@scarletrhodelia: I finished Koi Cha no Osahou yesterday and right after that i decided to make this topic because i was soooo annoyed by the couple xD the seme always super nice in public but actually a little bit creepy in private and the uke was resisting to the very end. It felt a bit like Junjou Romantica, but shorter biggrin

@Blique: ahhh, i remember Rutta to Kodama, i loved this one just beacuse of what you said! but thanks for reminding me, I'll reread it ^^

Honto Yajuu and Omairi Desu yo by Yamamoto Kotetsuko, perhaps?

Mousou Elektel by Nekota Yonezou

Kouun no Rihatsushi by Nagato Saichi

And maybe even Kayashimashi no Yuuga na Seikatsu by Tono Haruhi/Mamahara Ellie?

It's not yaoi, but I'd recommend Seven Days by Tachibana Venio/Takarai Rihito as the characters both seriously consider how they would like to define their relationship.

For other manga with a 'slice of life' feel and little to no angst, try browsing the works of Asou Kai, Yamamoto Kotetsuko, and Hidaka Shoko!

Anything by Fujitani Youko definitely fits. Seeing as you've already read Rutta to Kodama, have you read her Aishiteru (Fujitani Youko) yet? It's shorter, but no less sweet.

Also seconding Dear Green.

And...
Dining Bar Akira
Mirai no Kioku

MrsMink, you have described Haru wo Daite Ita. eyes

Yeah, that's exactly what comes to my mind when reading MrsMink's request.

Some more suggestions:
Complex
Himegoto Asobi
New York New York
P.B.B.

Hehe, funny that you would mention Punch Up! because to me, Shouko Kano's writing is more of the fantasy yaoi type. However, to each their own wink

I second:
Kayashimashi no Yuuga na Seikatsu by Ellie Mamahara. It's actually the manga version of a light novel (I believe), and I greatly enjoyed the slice of life aspect to their relationship. I think it fits all your criteria too, because they're already together at the beginning and the rest of the manga is spent on the evolution of their relationship. They go on vacation together, clear up misunderstandings (not crazy dramatic misunderstandings, but normal relationship ones), and they gradually come to understand each other. The seme spoils the uke to some extent, but I think the most enjoyable aspect of the story was watching him really fall in love. I think the conclusion was perfect and you aren't left wanting like you are with other mangas.

Love Stage!! - This manga is all lovey-dovey. Half of it so far has been about the chase and the rest has been about the obstacles in their relationship.

Ringo ni Hachimitsu (the titular couple) and its sequel Kare no Barairo no Jinsei by Hideyoshico.

I like MACHIYA Hatoko because I think most of the stories are sweet. That's the only thing on my mind right now since I re-read them earlier today lol.
