I'm looking for any manga with a female lead protagonist/POV where a guy tries to hook up the FMC with someone else, only to end up dating/marrying/idec the FMC himself instead for whatever reason.

Examples are:
(aka don't recommend the ones below)
Otogibanashi de Himitsu no Kiss
Cat Street (to a much lesser extent)
Sweet and Sensitive (to a much lesser extent)

The vice versa would be awesome, too -- a manga where the FMC tries to hook up the male lead with another girl, only to end up hooking up with him. This should also have a female lead protagonist/POV.

The only one that comes to mind at the moment is Kirara since
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
the female mc's past self was trying to hook up her best friend with the guy her best friend liked which was the female mc's future fiance.

Another oneshot, but adorable in my opinion: 7-gatsu no Mahoutsukai. And another, funny and adorable oneshot~ Rensou Mode

You can try Uwagaki by Yasohachi, Ryou. It isn't as romantic but well...it's not a bad concept.

Thanks everyone!

I tried reading this a while ago, and it looked like the lead protagonist is a male.

I'm fine if the series is light on the romance, so long as the girl ends up with the doctor (i.e. the person who tried to hook up the girl & that one guy who likes her) or someone else who tries to help them get together.

I forgot to mention that it's reversed. I just wanted to point it out there.

Forgot about this thread, sorry for late response. Also bump I guess.

Well I haven't actually read it--I just skimmed through the summary & first few chapters. My bias against shounen in general (I'm fond of seinen, shoujo, and josei--just not shounen for whatever reason) may also have contributed. I'll try reading it, then~ Thank you.

edit: how close is the manga to the light novel? actually, which one were you referring to in the first place? since the manga isn't completed, i'll go with the ln (assuming you were referring to the manga) instead.
