In most series the mc goes virgin or horny mode once a girl approaches him. His reaction would be stuttering, furiously blushing or having lewd thoughts while staring at boobs. That being the case in about 80% of all the mangas I've read so far.
I'd like to have a change and read about a protagonist who can handle the girls; maybe even be capable of courting them in a realistic way. ("I fell in love with him because he is such a nice person and has no other plus points whatsoever" come on it's getting old, but well.. it's mangas after all)

The courting point or the reason why they eventually fall in love with the mc isn't too relevant to me.
Right now I'd take any manga with a mc who can keep his cool around the ladies.
No shoujo and joseis please, since every male leads in their is exceptionally handsome, a born lady killer and a jerk (no offense to the readers).

I think the mc in Trinity Seven: 7-Nin no Mahoutsukai and Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei are pretty good fits.

Romance doesn't have to be the main focus but it should be there

Thanks biggrin

would Bonnouji be okay? If yes, I think I can list a bunch of them, but I'll continue that later.

Tsuki Tsuki! might fit, but the guy friend\family zones every single girl... MC is slightly similar to the guy from Trinity Seven: 7-Nin no Mahoutsukai.

Akira. Seinen. The protagonist starts out as somewhat of a womanizer/jerk towards women, but not in an unrealistic way - i.e, he doesn't have a harem, and he's not ridiculously attractive. The main plot is not the romance, though the romance is prominent enough, and it takes a long time for the heroine to warm up to him.

Tags that can be helpful (already filtered to avoid shoujo/josei and include romance) : Cool Male Lead and maybe Emotionless Protagonist / Cold Male Lead (but these tend to be jerks). There's also Womanisers but they are usually shoujo/josei or not refering to the lead.

Here are a few mangas focused on romance, they are slow paced slice of life so don't expect much action but the romance is much more realistic than usual :
Natsu no Zenjitsu
Bonnouji (seconded)
Solanin

And here are other recommendations where romance is not the focus but where the male lead fits what you want, more or less :
Nanatsu no Taizai It does have some comedy with pervert jokes from the MC, but apart from that he's never flustered or shy/blushing
The Voynich Hotel The romance is a bit slow to start, but once they date... well let's say it's not your typical manga where it takes years for the leads to even kiss.
Abnormal-Kei Joshi Atypical harem with an atypical male lead.

I'm just going to throw Horimiya in there, the mc is female but I think the focus is shared well between her and the male character and he's not the stereotypical shounen dude. (Despite the current cover art this is not BL bigrazz)
