Dining in the Dark - A restaurant where you eat in the dark. The concept is, that by taking away one of your senses (sight) it'll enhance your other senses giving you an new experience. (and probably a better meal). From what I understand it's a place where you order what you want, place your things in a locker, and the waiter guides you to your seat. I believe some have more a social aspect where you can meet new people in the dark.
Ehhh you can google more info if you're interested.

Have you dined in the dark? Or want to try it?

For me I have not tried one of these places yet, nor do I want to try it. I need to see what I put in my mouth before I eat it. I think I have one of those fears of eating a bug because I wasn't paying attention. Why would there be a bug in my food? I don't know, if I'm out eating I'm more cautious of something getting in my food that shouldn't be there. (Yes, I'm still cautious at home.) Anyways I would rather puke because there was a bug in my dish, than I ate half a bug or something.
Dining in the dark is not for me. I would rather try to sneak in night vision goggles laugh

I really want to try it! I was in Toronto for a few nights last year and they have a dining-in-the-dark restaurant there, but I had no one to go with. It's the type of thing that I think would be fun to experience with someone(s), but not so entertaining by oneself.

And bugs are just extra protein wink

I have no intention of trying it. I've always been scared of the dark since I was a kid, and I have a very strong paranoia whenever it's dark enough that I couldn't see anything, so, no thanks.
