Request summary:
In the story 2 characters (male and female) are in a relationship (or just know each other), but due to some reason one of them travels in time and meets younger\older version of the other character (falling in love with the other character at this point is ok too). It doesn't matter if it's the male or female character who travels in time or in which direction (past\future).

Some examples (not the best manga, but the only ones I could think of with this setup):

Re:Marina - female lead travles back in time and meets her late husband as a buy
Kirara - similar to the above (but in this one the female lead died and goes back in time as a ghost)

Kurohime - there is one long arc featuring this scenario

Edit: Completly forgot to mention RahXephon (anime) which had a variant of this (rather than time travel, the time was flowing slowly for one of the characters)

Please NO: hentai, shoujo ai, shounen ai, smut

I think The Country Is Saved! is my best offer. It may not go in the direction your request is suggesting, but you should look into it since the premise is good.

The manga Itou-san has a oneshot "Sensei+" that's like a variation on this theme. It's really close to what you want except it uses


Finally, these stories only show the characters in the past--any future relationship is more implied. I know they don't really fit your request, but I couldn't decide if they were close enough that you would want to look at them anyway. I'll just let you decide.
