Kasane (MATSUURA Daruma) is fantastic. Drama, horror, and without mindless gore and/or violence. But it updates slowly (not to complain) and I really want more.

I love psychological horror, and I love how Kasane is psychological horror with a shoujo twist. Huge plus that it lacks romance, although I do love psychopathic romance.

I've read everything by Ito Junji already, and already am familiar with very big name titles like Mirai Nikki. Any suggestions?

Thank you!

psychological horror that is shoujoish? you could try Melo Holic, doesn't have a lot of horror in it and it does focus around the romance but still a really good series.

Risou no Kareshitachi -- It's a one-shot and it is romance, but it definitely throws you in for a loop.
Ludwig Kakumei -- dark twist on fairy tales.

Maybe Coelacanth - someone recommended this to me previously and I really liked it. There is romance, but it's dark.

I would highly recommend Shuuseki Kairo no Himawari for oneshots. Erotic Horror and Fetish have some good ones too.

What do you mean by "shoujo twist"? Kasane is seinen, and it reads like one to me.

Anyway, some suggestions...
Alive
Bokurano
Doll Star - Kotodama Tsukai Ihon
Goth
Kiben Gakuha, Yotsuya Senpai no Kaidan
Motto, Ikitai...

I suppose I used the word "shoujo" because it feels that 90% of the "seinen" manga I've been seeing translated lately is just ecchi/harem/crap. You're right though, it's not shoujo. I meant more of the school yard bullying, self image issues, etc. if that makes sense.

I'm also super excited with these responses, I've actually not read a majority of them! Thank you everyone!

I can't help you out with the "Shoujo twist" or any high-school related psychological phenomena but if it is unconventional non-physical horror you're interested in, you might want to look through the following thread:

I don't really read horror, but I guess you could like
Hanako to Guuwa no Tera
Monochrome Myst
Shinrei Tantei Yakumo
Torikago no Tsugai
Sugar Dark - Umerareta Yami to Shoujo

and you clearly find the wrong seinen. It's hilarious how many innocent romance seinen are released for quite some time now...

Might just be me, but I thought Helter Skelter had a similar feel.

Dokuhime.

It's Josei, so if you're looking for seinen, it might not be your thing, but I'd give this a try regardless since you did ask for something "shoujo-like".

Ridiculously fucked up romance, only like 1 or 2 "violent" scenes (most of the deaths come through poisoning, so you rarely see anyone being externally harmed), drama, (soft) horror, and--despite its lack of a presence in the genre section--psychological elements.
