What is the best way to translate a dialect or accent of the original language that is not the norm (e.g., Kansai-ben)?
Different country's English accent (e.g., Irish or Australian)
Different American regional accent (e.g., Southern)
Have the character use different slang (e.g., 'pops' instead of 'dad')

I can't imagine how many stupid romances I've read or seen where the main guy is interested in a girl, while a harem of other girls cling on to him and he does nothing.

This seriously pisses me off and makes the guy completely unlikable to me. And the worst kind is where the girl is really innocent and kind and also really likes the guy and she witnesses this going on, it just.... argh!!

So now I need something to calm my nerves, since just thinking about it makes me angry bigrazz I need a romance manga where the guy tells the other girls to stay the hell away from him! And the stronger the better! biggrin

well kinda....
Orange Marmalade might fit, its not a harem but he is a really popular guy that likes the main girl and consistently pushes away the other girl that tries to get close to him(which has some really funny moments by the way).

Only time I can recall this happening is during the Spade character's route toward his fanclub for harassing the female protagonist in the Amnesia otome game so I assume you can find that in the anime adaption as well (I haven't watched it yet).

I read OM, about a year ago, for about 40 chapters, I think, until the other guy was introduced. I figured it would dive into drama hell after that so I dropped it. How annoying is the new guys presence? If it's not too bad, I might pick it up again.

Also, dunno if it came across that way, but I'm not really looking for a harem. I mean, I'm fine with any genre as long as the MC pushes away any girl or girls that is not the girl he likes. So bring it on, shoujo, josei, whatever smile
