I think Mushoku Tensei (Novel) matches your criteria perfectly 
. Although MC doesn't use magic in them I really recommend Sword Art Online (Novel) and The Legendary Moonlight Sculptor (Novel). Can I ask where did you read Knight's & Magic? Did you read raws or is there some translation?

If I remember correctly Skythewood is doing translation of it, even though you may not find it on baka-update release page check their site..

I think Ichiban Ushiro no Daimaou (Novel) more or less fits what you want...
