Looking at the original webtoon links and both group's releases, I'd say this is the same series.

im pretty sure that they are the same series, shadow was one of the three the webtoons that where only supposed to be one chapter but they got an award that allowed them to be 20 chapters long. so i dont think there would be any spin offs or different versions of it.
