I know this might seem like an odd question but, for those of you who dislike vegetarians and vegans, why? Ever since I've become vegan, I've had so many jokes and insults directed to me, and I don't really understand why somebody would dislike it.
And also, how come you aren't vegetarian?
And also, how come you aren't vegetarian?
If you're a minority at anything, there will be people talking shit about you. Some people are like that. It doesn't matter whether you're a vegetarian, have a different hair style, your parent has a weird name, you have a nerdy hobby, doesn't matter. That's not a vegetarian problem exclusively. It just means that other than being a vegetarian, you hardly deviate from the mean if you haven't been patronized for anything else. I don't care if someone is a vegetarian. It's not really my business. I can have my own opinion on it thought, which is that there's a lot of moralist bullshit regarding eating meat.
As for why am I not a vegetarian, I don't see a reason to be one. You need to be exposed to someone's agenda to become one. You wouldn't turn a vegetarian if you lived in the wild like any other animal. You'd eat to survive and you'd eat things that your body can use for nutrition. It's natural to consume other living things. For the ecosystem, it's even a necessity that animals eat each other. Otherwise there would be no plants, as locusts and rabbits would ravage them in numbers. I'll eat whatever keeps me going. All forms of life are equal in the food chain. I'll eat what I think is the tastiest.
