Hello!

So, I've been reading a lot of LNs lately and now I'm having a hard time finding new ones ._.
I'd appreciate it if you guys could recommend me some!

I'd like it to be fantasy/adventure. And the MC has to be decent. He can't be weak or stupid or a crybaby. The more badass the better. And no rape. That's it, I guess. My lists are public if you want to check.

Thanks in advance~

Arifureta Shokugyou de Sekai Saikyou (Novel) haven't read it yet, is on my backlog

Knights & Magic (Novel) Great main character, Fantasy and Mecha

Log Horizon (Novel) Greatest main character, takes a very unexpected turn from the normal fantasy setting

Maoyuu Maou Yuusha (Novel) Great plot

Master of Monster (Novel) The MC has a very uncommon ability for this kind of fantasy novel

Mushoku Tensei (Novel)The MC can be an Idiot at times, but the plot is great, try to at least read up to the "Turning Point" chapters, something interesting always happen

Nejimaki Seirei Senki - Tenkyou no Alderamin (Novel) Haven't read it yet, seems interesting

Rakuin no Monshou (Novel) Somebody recommended this to me

Re:Monster (Novel) Great main character, he fights the good guys and doesn't afraid of anything (This is an inside joke, not a mistake)

Slime Tensei Monogatari (Novel) Similar to Re:Monster, but the MC isn't as ballsy. If you can't find it I can provide you with a link

Souen no Historia (Novel) Pretty much Mushoku Tensei, but with the MC being a butler.

Tate no Yuusha no Nariagari (Novel) Capitan Japan, with his shield in hand.

The Legendary Moonlight Sculptor (Novel) You probably know this one

Tsuyokute New Saga (Novel) A second chance at life for a hero, and he will try to use it to prevent the war

Also, this; Mother of Learning, it's not a light novel, but it's honestly great, good writing and good MC aswell, really smart, while not going full Gary Stu.

Master of Monster has rape, or so I'm told.
As for the rest, I've read them all except for the Nejimaki one. I'll give it a shot.

Don't compare Souen with Mushoku please, Souen's Mc is so much better.

What's the plot of that Mother of Learning tho? :/

Master of Monster doesn't have depiction of rape,
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
The MC founds a dead girl who has been raped, and then goes to kill the perpetrators.

I compared Mushoky and Souen's because the way the novel starts is similar, the MC saves somebody's life in exchange from his own, and then is reborn in another, magical, world as baby with his memories.
Plus don't dismiss Rudeus as a piece of shit just yet, he grows a lot along the novel (altough he's always far from perfect)

Mother of Learning summary is:"Zorian, a mage in training, only wanted to finish his education in peace. Now he struggles to find answers as he finds himself repeatedly reliving the same month. 'Groundhog's day' style setup in a fantasy world."

What makes it unique in my book is;
1. The Main Character, He is the antithesis of a regular main character, and this is lamp shaded a bit on the history. He is not "the chosen one", but he gets dragged into the the frying pan and pulls his weight through good thinking.
2. The magic system, this is uncovered as you read the chapters, so I don't want to spoil anything, but I can say at least that it's rather well done in comparison to other systems from novels or manga that seem to be missing, for lack of a better term, a bit of common sense.
Another plus is that it doesn't have an harem tag.

Well, I only like rape in hentai (go figure), but absolute hate even the mention of it elsewhere. So I don't really feel like reading that one ._.

About Rudeus... I can't seem to like him, and I've read up to volume 18 ._.

That description seem interesting, I'll give it a shot.

im going to strongly second Rakuin no Monshou (Novel) it is my favorite light novel out there.

also going to suggest my second favorite novel Legend of the Sun Knight - if you havent read this one i highly recommend it just because of the MC. Sun is awesome, he makes everything ten times better.

also going to throw Utsuro no Hako to Zero no Maria (Novel) out there, a lot of people really like this one. i thought the first volume was amazing but gets a little repetitive after that, but that is just my opinion.

I tried reading the Sun Knight but it's not my kind of thing.

And Utsuro no Hako really doesn't seem like something I would like ._.

Thanks btw.

I suggest Reincarnated Butler, translated by RE Translations. Its similar to Mushoku Tensei (Novel) and Souen no Historia (Novel) and also Mismarca Koukoku Monogatari (Novel).

Go with all those the first guy said,

Arifuerta is very good

Anything done by RE Translations is pretty good

Rakuin no monshou is also very good, but its a little more higher level reading than others.... they like to be descriptive, similar in the way mahouka is written.

Tenkyou no Alderamin is so far pretty interesting, but its only up to ch1 on bakatsuki and its been like that for a while.

Madan no Ou to Vanadis is very very good if you want a harem type story along with your fantasy, MC is kinda weak, but kinda not as hes strong but kind of nonchalant about it.

Saijaku Muhai no Bahamut is so far pretty good, similar to Infinite Stratos, with a less dense MC, and more fantasy. MC is strong as hell. But he is forced to hide it

Ark (Novel) <-- MC is kind hearted at start but changes

Mushoku Tensei (Novel) <-- i liked this shit at start but MC is a horny old guy in a kids body. too much ecchi shit that you'll get mad and curse at the author for shitting on his own work

The Legendary Moonlight Sculptor (Novel) if by the heaven's you haven't read this masterpiece.

World teacher- i sekai shiki kyouiku ejento is pretty good i guess. Its plot is similar to Mushoku Tensei with how the character gets reincarnated into a baby in an rpg like world. It also starts from babyhood and i suppose onwards. It's evident that there will be different plots apart from the whole reincarnated thing (obviously x'D ). The only thing is... only three chapters have been translated sad

I loooooove Mondaiji-tachi ga Isekai Kara Kuru Sou Desu yo? (Novel) and No Game No Life (Novel). Protagonists in both LNs are pretty OP.. I almost always recommend these two >_<

You could probably check out Kaze no Stigma (Novel), Koukaku no Regios (Novel), and Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei (Novel) biggrin

Edit: I forgot to add Mokushiroku Alice (Novel)
