What I'm looking for is a manga that deals with grown up themes (suicidal feelings, war, etc) but doesn't have any nudity, sex, or anything like that. Preferably not too bloody or filled with bad words.

I can't think of any examples at the moment. If you need clarification on what I mean, don't hesitate to ask. Please and thank you! smile

BASARA!!! One of my favorite manga of all time. A MUST READ!
I will have to upvote that! Unfortunately, most mature manga has sex! sad
Super DEEP but revolves around sexual abuse:
Zankoku na Kami ga Shihai Suru

Let me know if you would like to recommend me anything mature as well smile
It is challenging to find that specific maturity on what you are looking for! biggrin

I would definitely recommend Planetes.

Satougashi no Dangan wa Uchinukenai

Bokura ga Ita

I think that The Embalmer has no nudity except for the male lead walking around without his shirt sometimes, but I can't remember for sure.

You can try H, too. It's by times depressing, but the topic is mature and the atmosphere like a rollercoaster ride, triggered by all the emotions mixing up in a complete whirlwind - around growing-up and facing one's weaknesses, instead of running away. Kind of.

you could try Boku dake ga Inai Machi it sounds like what your looking for, its about an incident with child kidnapping that the MC went through when he was little. and so far there hasn't been anything sexual in it.

i also enjoyed Shibatora, its about a detective that helps troubled children, so there are a lot of content that is more mature like suicide and the use of drugs.

I think there are alot of those, it just you have to know how to search for them.
most seinen/josei with adult content and without ecchi or mature content are that.
Also why do you consider only suicid and war as adult themes while dismissing romance or relationships?
there are manga that tackles those in a serious manner without falling in mainstream trivialization.
I'll give examples:
Moteki most mature manga I've read without any stupid perversion (there was a sex scenes but it wasn't exploitative, it was part of the story )
Uwagaki seinen with chars who are high-schoolers? but the themes are so adult.
for Josei, I think Made in Heaven was perfect.
also any manga by MORI Kouji.
There are more mangas but I can't remember now.

@jasperv- I was only listing some examples of what the topics could be. At the time I wasn't thinking of relationships!

Thank you to everyone who has helped me. I've found so many that fit! Thanks again ♥
