Hello everybody, I'm looking for romance mangas, since lately I've had too much action and gore in general. Before you suggest I look in tags I've already looked through many tags, maybe 20+, before coming here, from Male Lead Falls in Love First to Strong Female/Male Lead and I've only found 1 or 2. I will try to be broad yet specific as possible. I've also left my reading list and complete list public just in case it would make it easier

Themes I'm looking for at the moment:
- Male lead falls in love first/male lead's unrequited love becomes requited
- Male lead is not extremely possessive, but does get jealous and pursues female lead in a non-creepy fashion
- Female lead doesn't blush 24/7 or becomes an idiot after being confessed to or pursued
- Female lead is sensible and doesn't desperately want a boyfriend because all her friends are getting one (can't believe how many of those I saw)

Themes I'm not looking for:
- Yaoi or shounen-ai
- Ecchi
- Hentai
- Harem
- Yuri

Mars and Please Save My Earth are my two awardwinning faves. in the genre.
Otoyomegatari is the best ongoing in the running. Flawless fictory.

And at last Kiseijuu. It is a body horror seinen sespense manga but HOT damn what a strong love story. The current anime is a very strong adaptation but the manga wins out for me.

Gokusen not heavy on romance but it's nice anyway ^^ . Shounen
