looking for something like the breaker where the mc is bullied or weak at first but meets someone n gets really strong, at least as strong the sensei.
i know there are a lot of similar threads that has lots of recommendations but they r mostly ongoing so NO. i only WANT COMPLETED ones. no samurai, pirates, historical or mecha ok? dont recommend the famous ones coz there's a 90% chance ive read them. lastly, absolute no COMEDY. ive read kenichi n i like it but the comedy part..... not so much. i prefer serious n dark.

ive read noblesse(ongoing so i dropped it) deadman, veritas, holyland, breaker, psyren. lots muore but nah.

Try Holyland if you hadn't, It's pretty much what you are looking for, I probably had read more stuff like this, but I can't remember any other complete title that might fit, specially the darker tones part, except for this one.

Kiseijuu, Jisatsutou(you know the author), Shamo,(turns to shit after fantasy elements get introduced in Vol.13), All Rounder Meguru.
Does Real count ? Berserk(his journey begins with being raped as a child/nearly eaten by wolves and look at him now !) is fantasy and incomplete but i don´t care.
"Weak to Strong" is your friend.
