I've been craving for some really good sports manga lately, but can't seem to find any that catches my eye.
I don't exactly care for what sport it is, the contents, or the characters' personalities. However, I do love character/talent development, but I'm fine if they're strong from the start.

I've already read quite a few:
Ahiru no Sora
Kuroko no Basket
Haikyuu
Area no kishi
Prince of Tennis series
Eyeshield 21

If there's one thing I definitely do not like, it is if the romance is too hard-core and gets in the way. In other words, becomes annoying.

Like they said Cross Game. This mangaka, ADACHI Mitsuru, deals primarily with sports genre, however there is a hint of romance in them.
