This one might be a manwa. The only genre I can think of is school life, but pretty sure it's also romance and possibly tragedy.

**FOUND** Tackle on my life
The school was on a field trip and a boy and girl get lost or fall down a hill. Anyway, they get separated from the group and they end up in a cramped space and he notices that the girl (I think his girlfriend or someone he really likes) hit her head on the ground. He puts his jacket on her because she said that she was cold. He told her not to sleep and talked to her to try to keep her awake. I'm 99% positive she died, and soon after the faculty and students (or just the teachers) find them. It fast forwards a bit (I don't think it shows the funeral and might skip a year or more) believe that he has problems with getting attached to people.

It's about a deity who lost his memory. The main human character (female?) and the deity go shopping at a convenience store. There is a person that knows that the deity isn't human and tells the two that he wants to talk to them at the temple at the top of the hill (I think that's where it is). They all go to the temple, and it turns out that the guy from the store is the towns(?) residant deity. The city's deity (dog I think) attacks the amnesiac deity by bringing the stone guardians (lion-dogs) to life and having them attack while he (the dog deity?) controls them. *I think it's supposed to be that there is only one deity per city. A deity can take control of another town/city if he beats the current deity in a fight and wins.*

The manga isn't any of the following
Wagaya no Oinari-sama
Kamisama Hajimemashita
Qwan
Yama ni Sumu Kami
Tayutama- Kiss on My Deity
Kami-sama Shinkaron

PS. This one may be hard as it came out sometime before 2009. I have posted it previously, but it was buried, so I'm hoping someone might be able to help me.

**Both of these occur in the beginning chapters as the manga were not complete when I lost track of them. Thanks for the help! smile

I'm skeptical, but it might be Mikakunin de Shinkoukei. I would say I'm 65% sure. I watched the anime of this and the manga was produced right at 2009.
Spoiler (mouse over to view)
The female heroine does fall down a cliff and a spirit male character does go with her. He saves her from dying by giving her half his power. The male main character is a bit distant from others and doesn't know how to act around the heroine. He does give her his jacket though in later episode.

Anyways I can't be sure if this is it, but I am fairly confident I have read this. It may just take me more time to remember.

Could you also describe the artwork?
It goes a long way if you can tell if it's shoujo/shounen and also tell what era it was drawn. 80's manga characters look significantly different from today's.

Thank you everyone for your help with this one. It was Tackle on my Life smile I thought it looked like Hwang Mi Ri's work but it had been so long that I wasn't positive and skeptical. I didn't think it would be one of hers.

Tobuay: I never thought about the date or time frame reference, I'll definitely pay more attention to it. The problem, particularly with the second one, is that so much time has passed that I can only recall what happened and not the drawings themselves.
