i am looking for a manga that is very....intense, and psychologically thrilling.
Type doesn't matter, and violence/sex doesn't matter either
as long as it fits the first part, I'll read it

@dragon, I laughed at Ichi the Killer, it wasn't intense at all, it was good, but not exactly psychological.
Homunculus was boring, to meh.
but I'll check out 20th century boys and Eternal Sabbath.
@layhe, thanks for the long list, the thing to add them to my list seems to be down at the moment for me, but I'll add them in a bit, so i remember to read them.

Monster is quite possibly the best psychological manga ever written.
Second 20th Century Boys, Doubt (TONOGAI Yoshiki), and Nijigahara Holograph.
The Hour of the Mice is pretty good as well, not incredible intense though.

Yeah, it is. I think it's actually interesting, although some people might be depressed by it. Risky choice, to say the least.
Spoiler (highlight to view) Actually, the girl kills the guy and is then killed by the other girl. There was something about the guy's head in a bag as well...it's been a while... .

I think its a great psychological manga/anime, it builds up your hatred through the first 11 episodes, and vents it in the 12th
