Hey there. I'm sure there's 1556154321897912845 of similar topics here, I tried using search option but failed to do so. If this topic is somehow wrong with the rules, I'm sorry, just delete it or w/e.

I'm looking for a manga that is finished, it has to have completed romance by either getting together or main character dying or something else just not left for us to think what happens to them.

It can be your typical action or adventure manga or just a slice of life. Just not shoujo, I'm kinda tired of that as of late.

I read that Orange Marmalade is something I should read but on this website it says it's still ongoing and on MAL it says it's finished, is it even worth?

Just throw whatever you think fits this, I didn't read many manga in my life so it should be fine.

Bonnouji - This is great, I would say try this one first.

Hapi Mari- completed with IMO a whole ending.

Kare First Love - Shoujo I know it's one of the best ones I know because it has a satisfying ending.

Meteor Methuselah- Another Shoujo, but people often think it's not. So not your typical Shoujo.

Ore ga Akuma de, Aitsu ga Yome de. - Cute >.<

Angel Densetsu - Errr I wouldn't read this for the "romance" IMO it would be a let down if you were reading it just for the romance aspect, but it is worth reading.

Basilisk- Ninjas, and a forbidden love ...

Kimi wa Pet

Love Hina - Don't watch the anime, the manga is better.

Midnight Secretary

(Okay here's some of my favorites that are done, but again Shoujo so if you're in the mood to read them again we have)
Daisuki Datta yo, Sensei... (first story only)
Butakai Ouji to 100 Kai no Kiss
Hana no Namae
Hana wa Knife o Mi ni Matou
Seishun Walker

And if you are somehow in the mood for something ongoing -
Give Kubera although there's ... almost no romance in it so far. Hahahaha.

Sidenote - Orange Marmalade is complete, and completely scanlated, since it was done as a webtoon online, although it's completed the physical volumes are still being made. (does that make sense?) Also note that Naver has just started doing it's "official" English translation that's still ongoing. (It was completed by another group(s) before.)
As to how good the story is? No clue.

Oh and welcome to the forums. (Don't forget to actually check out the forum rules, sub forum rules, and FAQ)

Thanks for recommendations.

Bonnouji was one of the very few manga I've read and I gotta say it was amazing.

I'll check out the rest and add the ones which look interesting to my PTR list, again thanks.

Im kinda in a mood for a typical shounen but with an actual love that is resolved and manga finished.

It amazes/saddens me how many of those I've read. Also, Mirai Nikki smile - definitely some intense emotions there.

Rurouni Kenshin 10/10 has two for the price of one.Why not Beck 9/10 ?
Or Sakamichi no Apollon 10/10 or Honey and Clover 10/10 which are josei .
Or Yawara 8,5/10 which is basically an oldschool sitcom. Living Game 8,5/10 stood out.
Fullmetal Alchemist 10/10 is a must. And one(the best) shojo Mars10/10.
Ginga Eiyuu Densetsu (watch the 10/10 anime) has a ton of love related deaths(more then Ice and Fire!) and marriages. So many feelZ. Maximum impact of all sorts of content within.

Thanks guys.

@sunder, I watched most of these in anime form but I'll check the other ones, thank you.

@residentgrigo thanks I'll check them out.

I know this is probably due to my inexperience but as a shounen I meant Action, adventure + resolved romance. Great example would be Busou Renkin.

You should definitely read Full Metal Panic!, Rosario to Vampire and Tasogare Otome x Amnesia even if you've already seen the anime. They are different enough that you will enjoy them... Especially Rosario to Vampire... almost a whole different story...

That sort of implies that the romance doesn't go anywhere or it has a bad ending or something... the "romance" aspect is very much present even if it isn't a focus. And it's uncomplicated and ends well.

To me it was a let down as a romance. Yes it's there, and you can tell. It's not subtle or almost nonexistent, but I wouldn't say the whole story revolves around romance. I have a hard time call it a romance because it has elements of it in it, but not a romance in the core ... (if that makes sense)
Is it the best romance? No, not IMO
Is it a great manga? Yes, but not if you're solely interested in a romantic story.

I found Angel Densetsu(10/10) to be a great romance among other things. Real anime when ? Well Kiseijuu 10/10 is not shonen(like so not) but the resolved love story is the backbone. The anime is nearly as good.
