Hey there!
It's Tobey here, the administrator of Demonic Scans!
Demonic Scans is a scanlation group.
Now to introduce the positions!
*ALL POSITIONS MUST HAVE ENOUGH TIME AND DEDICATION TO SCANLATION!*
RAW Providers (Chinese/Japanese) DEMAND: LOW
-All RAW Providers MUST have access to the RAWS. (In rare cases, you will receive what we order through email from online sites. But because most of the RAWS from China [which is what we mostly scanlate] will only be able from legit places (newspaper stands, bookstores, and whatnot), you should be able to buy them directly from the places I just mentioned.)
-Must be able to upload the RAWS to the drive on the same day they are released (or received, if we ordered the RAWS).
-Must unbind books.
-Must have a scanner to scan books at 600dpi.
Translators (Chinese/Japanese/Korean) DEMAND: HIGH
-All translators MUST have a good grasp of both their translating language and English.
-Must be able to translate fast. When I mean fast, I mean... fast.
-Must be able to open .doc files and have Microsoft Word.
-Must be able to identify the wrong page orders and fix them (We get most of our RAWS online so some of the pages may be in the incorrect order).
Proofreader DEMAND: LOW
-Should have a good level of knowledge in both the original language and a very high level of the English language.
Cleaner DEMAND: MEDIUM
-Takes the page and fixes it. Cropping, resizing, and fixing the colors.
Redrawer DEMAND: MEDIUM
-Takes the cleaned page and removes any SFX or text that live on the artwork. They redraw the artwork back on.
Typesetter DEMAND: LOW
-Takes the page and puts the text on it!
-Must be able to open .doc files and have Microsoft Word.
All Editors MUST have photoshop. Any version is fine as long as it is able to read PSD files.

It says for editors we MUST have photoshop. I have GIMP, does that meet requirements or no?
