Lower Undead Burg is the way i agree. What is the build you are going for?
Edit: The Hydra is for a later fight and BIG secrets await in that area. I had my first wall with Sif, the Great Grey Wolf but then went farming. You need to open the gate btw. to make my farming method quick as hell.

Thanks again! I'm a level 22 warrior. I killed the the moonlight butterfly (pretty easy) but right after that things got tougher like you said. Tried to kill the Hydra and that guy with the dragons tooth that kills you right away, didn't go that well. Too hardcore for me lol.

Right now I'm on my way to the Lower undead Burg, will see how that goes!

The dragon tooth guy is Havel, and he's actually not too hard to take down once you see his patterns - he's very slow and predictable. There's a rather amusing youTube video somewhere of one girl killing him with a naked base-level character!

Likewise, there's a trick to fighting the hydra that makes it fairly straightforward, but there's no particular hurry. Did you investigate the shrine area?

lol I definitly have to watch that video, epic fail on my part with my 22 lvl warrior

Yeah I went to the catacombs and managed to nick Zweihander (the sword) from the huge skeleton guy. I don't know where else to go actually, expect from the ghost area, which is a suicide mission without a holy weapon. Do you know more places?

for the ghosts you need a cursed weapon, not a holy one, or keep using the consumable curse item, or get cursed by some enemies (not advised).

do you remember the taurus demon? if you just go straight after his area you'll get to a door that you should now have the key for (iirc it was right behind the gate with the metal boar). then just go down the ladder. (from here on it's just as I described earlier). you want to go that way, because you want the ember shortly after the sewer entrance to upgrade your weapon even further.

you could also revisit your starting location if you are very patient (killing a boss that is very predictable but has an insane amount of health) by stepping from the elevator to/from firelink/undead parish

At the shrine, it's possible to get up on top of the ruins by getting off the elevator from the chapel before it reaches the bottom. If you climb up the stuff at the shrine there are a few things you can find.

As far as areas to clear, the next easiest is the Lower Undead Burg, so that's where you want to go.

I just beat Bloodborne (i got the "give in" and the "true" final boss ending as i backed up my save) and have most of the trophies as i did all the secrets but the chalice dungeon final boss / 15+ rune. The chalice dungeons are a good idea but they are too generic as of now. My final level is 109 and it took me 3,5 days. I messed around with co-op a bit (this is how you get invaded too) but i power-leveled so hard that i had trouble to get partners later so i did the heavy duty myself and kind of broke the game. Most of my later deaths came form cheap (back) attacks and from falling off stuff...
Ludwig's Holy Blade is THE weapon of choice and guns are garbage but i am glad that magic went as that was borderline cheating earlier. This is overall the easiest of the 4 but the later secret areas are too hard to trigger at times without a guide and it is also pretty easy to loose the critical path during the first half. The game design is also heavily streamlined and blocking is a thing of the past so my Ninja Gaiden reflexes did double duty. Overall the best one after Dark Souls 1 so join the Esoteric Order of Dagon today!
Lovecraft literacy helps btw. but the story is way too hidden this time so watch Bloodborne Lore - The Story after finishing to even get the basics. 9/10 or a A- it is.
Thank Nyarlathotep the game sold as one can never have enough Souls and i would love to play a big budget Armored Core next.
@xmariah201 A platinum! Not bad.

Really, you thought Bloodborne was the easiest of the four?

I don't know about Demon's Souls 'cause I never played it, but Dark Souls is way easier than Bloodborne to me. Sure, Bloodborne's bosses are easier than most of Dark Souls', but the overall game is harder.

I platinumed Bloodborne like a month ago and then I started replaying Dark Souls 2 Scholar of the First sin, since it was released for PS4, and even tho they made it harder than the original, it's still easier than Bloodborne. I'm only missing 2 trophies here. The pyromancy and the miracles one. But I'll get them today.

But yea, Dark Souls 2 was never really that hard. The first one was way harder, and better. But I love all of them.

And I don't have a favourite between Bloodborne and Dark Souls, they're both really good.

woow wait a sec... am I really reading about you guys thinking that Dark souls is easy? Damn either you're monsters or it's something wrong with your game

Dark souls was really hard in my opinion. And this is from someone who usually plays her games on Hard mode. I like that it's challenging though, so nothing wrong with that. I just had one problem and that was how the game came of as gloomy, but I guess that it's called Dark souls for a reason lol

The Dark Souls 3 (so 5) rumors are becoming more and more convincing and Dark Souls 3 Reportedly Releasing in 2016 looks very credible.
Let´s see what E3 will hold but i could live with a slowdown of releases in the series after that as Souls is never getting time off thanks to the (quality) DLC.
