Hi! I'm looking for a manga (preferably shoujo) with a main lead that knows she's beautiful and goes out of her way to hide it. Basically a girl who pretends to be ugly/plain on purpose but could be really beautiful if she wanted to. (If there's a manga that comes to your mind where the lead doesn't know that she's beautiful you can recommend that too though that's not what I'm primarily looking for).

gokusen is like that, but her beauty is very very unimportant to the plot.

there is also this manga about a guy who gets into sewing, but well, the beautiful mc is the guy.

Check out Sengoku Danshi Hana no Ran. It's shoujo, with a pretty lead hiding behind plain clothes and glasses because of a traumatic incident from the past. Or at least that's how the story goes, as far as I remember.
