What is the best way to translate a dialect or accent of the original language that is not the norm (e.g., Kansai-ben)?
Different country's English accent (e.g., Irish or Australian)
Different American regional accent (e.g., Southern)
Have the character use different slang (e.g., 'pops' instead of 'dad')
Minor speech pattern differences (e.g., dropping the 'g' in '-ing' words)

Ghost Hunt, finally. It was great but the ending was too ambiguous:

It didn't really say whether Mai loved Naru or Gene, and although I know it's Naru and the author intended it so and just doesn't like writing romantic manga I wish it was still more clear about the fact.

I am ashamed to say, but yes, it was Vampire Knight. And boy, was that a roll-your-eyes-chapter...(or more like last 10 volumes....)

...well.

Looking forward to reading something more ridiculous. Seems impossible at this point lol
