Quote from cmertb
So? Scanlators need to have their fun. Even if far from everyone of them has the taste and/or the sense of humor required for making good jokes.

Thank you! Some people just get so upset for such small things. I'd hate to meet those people in RL.

I watch each once and then skip the repeats is off to a landslide and i picked it too.

I wouldn't call enjoying the opening/ending sequence insanity. They're not expecting different "results," they expect the same thing. Some people just like it. Way to misuse a famous quote. roll Don't try so hard, bud. Nobody is judging you, but they might if you write something, um, not so intelligent. bigrazz

Why is there no "I skip them when I don't like them" option? :/

Since, as is customary with these polls, there is no correctly nuanced reply option I need, I voted for "I don't watch anime".

A little off-topic but I really really find the OP and ED songs of the new anime Owari no Seraph awesome. It came as a surprise. With songs like that I'm gonna repeat them every episode biggrin

I tend to watch anime when I'm cooking. Can't really skip stuff there.

I watch the opening and ending at least once and skip afterwards unless it's a really good song like the second op/ed of Akatsuki no Yona. I love those songs.

I usually listen to them once, them skip.
If I found the OP/ED interesting, I'll download them to listen at other occasion, but not when watching the anime. It tend to distract me from the story.

It depends, if they're really good I will listen to them every time, even rewind back and listen again.
Unfortunately most songs aren't that good, so it's "skip both most of the time" for me.

I'll watch them if I like them (or the song). I tend to watch the openings more since I can be bothered to find out where exactly to skip to, with an ending I can just shut it off if I know there is nothing after.

the one that hit me this time was of world trigger because I saw the update here I went to batoto and there was a fake chapter as it was made by other scanlation (didn't check you upload it at first cause I was on my phone, and I hate to download chapters but this time after I got home I did it and read it, wasn't going to wait more for it

For the opening there are two important things to consider to chose: The song and the internet speed, If I have nothing to do in between and the speed is enough so it doesn't stop but you can't skip it still. And in most animes I just listen to the ending once and even if I like it I don't listen to it always, recent cases are ansatsu and yowapeda.

I also watch them once and then skip them throughout the series because they take away 5 minutes of my precious time, which I save it for the next episodes. biggrin

Depends,
If the OP have a catchy song that i like, I'll prolly watch it every time,
If not, just 2-3 episodes and skip the rest..

ED, Same with OP
But EDs are often, boring....

So I chose the 3rd option.

The only opening/ending themes I can honestly say that I watched faithfully every single time without skipping were eX Dream (Opening Theme to X, TV Series version) and Mirai Seiki Maruhi Club (Ending theme to Boogiepop Phantom), and that was entirely because I like the theme songs.
